The 4th Doha Conference on Combating the Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property, entitled “Crisis Preparedness and Cultural Heritage Protection: Prevention to Recovery”, will take place from 21 to 24 September 2025 at the Qatar National Library in Doha.
The program is structured over four days and will bring together international experts, representatives of cultural institutions, legal authorities, and academia to address key issues: from preventing the illicit trafficking of cultural property to safeguarding heritage in times of conflict, from the use of innovative technologies in cultural protection to the role of international conventions and law enforcement.
Through thematic sessions, case studies, open discussions, and networking opportunities, the conference will provide a unique platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, fostering global cooperation in protecting cultural heritage as a means of stability, resilience, and sustainable development.
