On september 20th and 21st of this year, the promoted “V World Summit for Peace” it was held, organized by the Internacional Peace Action Movement (Pte. Dr. Alejandro D’Alessandro) and Casa Comun School (Rector Dr. Mirtha Praino), with the participation of outstanding and recognized personalities from the professional, academic and cultural world, from more tan 45 countries, among them Dr. Ernesto Kahan (Novel Peace Prize Delegate 1985), with the aim of raising the voice for Peace in the World and advocating for the end of the war conflicts that continue to develop around the planet today. Our Vision and Global Trends columnist, Dr. Mario Ramon Duarte (Argentine Academic), was summoned and represented Argentina at the mentioned Summit. The topic addressed by our expert was: “Educating for Peace in 4.0 times”, where he expressed in summary that it is necessary to draw up strategic lines of action such as Patience, Prudence and Strategic Wisdom as a guide and architecture to be able to achieve this desired goal for which we strive as people committed to a prosperous future in this unique and unprecedented time in history for which humanity has no previous references due to the new global, social, political, economic, educational scenarios, among others, in the face of restructuring of societies and social relations. Furthermore, Dr. Duarte alluded to this epochal change marked by new technologies and their impact on our daily lives. Closing his conference, he added that Peace is one of the most precious values of human beings to be able to continue building this new normality, which is an undeniable reality that calls us to build more and better opportunities for everyone. The prestigious event was broadcast virtually to all 5 continents simultaneously, via the web and through more than 1.000 television channels; which had its epicenter at Miami Dade College (Public University) Florida-USA.
Finally, it is important to highlight that due to the masterfull conference of Dr. Mario Ramón Duarte, he was nominated and elected: Argentine and Iberoamerican Ambassador for Peace in the world, by the Iberoamerican Women´s Forum, chaired by Dra. HC Mirtha Praino.
